What if I were to tell you that there are several ways you can start a side hustle, even during a crisis economy? And what if I told you it will pay more than your regular job did? Would you believe me though? Well, it's the truth. It is the honest truth. You can absolutely make money right now, even amidst a pandemic that may just have you saying, "Peace out," to your regular job. Why? Because most side hustles pay more, especially the ones I'm going to share with you in this video. So stick around to the very end, because it may just change your life and your perspective. So if you stop being run by fear and start being powered by faith and action as well, take notes because we doing this.
What's up, everybody. Welcome to my channel. I'm Sheila Bella, and I help beauty entrepreneurs make bank in their salon, studios and online. I've done both. I own multiple businesses, a salon, and a full-time online business. So I know typical mistakes people make in both worlds. I've made the mistakes for you. Have you subscribed to the channel? So today, listen up, I'm going to break down the top three highest paying jobs beauticians like you can create for yourself in this crisis economy.
Number one, beauty maintenance kits. Yeah, beauty maintenance kits. Guys, let's cut to the chase. I know you can't see our clients, or not all of you can see your clients right now and do their hair, makeup, brows, whatever it might be. But it doesn't mean you can't take care of them. And I have to say I'm a little disappointed in my hairstylist. I love her, but I'm a little disappointed. I really wanted more. Right now, my suggestion would be to take ownership of that specific part of your client's beauty regimen. Whether it's hair, her skin, her nails, she trusts you with it. You are her guide when it comes to it.
So for example, if you do her hair, give her a call and say, "Hey girl, how's your hair doing? How's it going? Can I send you some products? What do you need?" I'm sure she's dying to see you. And I'm sure she would gladly purchase some sort of maintenance kit that will help carry her through until she sees you again. What about if you do waxing? I'm sure your girls are freaking out right now because they've never been hairier and their partners are probably freaking out too.
So you're a beauty expert, right? So pandemic or not, you're still a beauty expert. So get in touch with your clients, lead them to freedom. Give them the tools they need for in-between appointments. Gosh, it could be a tutorial for how to do it yourself, a shaving kit or a trimming guide. They'll never be able to do it like you. So right now this might be a side hustle for you putting together mini beauty kits for your clients. And by the way, by the way, it is going to blow their minds. They're going to appreciate you so much and they will never want to let you go. They don't ever want to go to anybody else because you cared for them through a crisis.
So let's say you have 100 clients and say, for example, 60 of them purchase a kit for $47. That's $2,820 just like that. Once they run out of product, they're going to need that again. And next time they might even tell their friends. And before you know it, you might have a whole nother beauty kit side hustle that is now a main hustle. Ever heard of beauty bucks? Yeah.
Number two, beauty consultations next. So now everybody is aching to get back into a salon. All the blondes are turning brunette, nails are chipping off and our complexions need exfoliating. There is a serious need for that exhibit A. You know what? If you've been a good little citizen staying at home, I just want to know what beauty treatment do you miss the most? Tell me in the comments, is it facials, massages, getting your makeup done professionally? Oh, I miss all of those things. So tell me in the comments so I don't feel like I'm alone.
So yes, there's still a desperate need for beauty experts. Answer that need and you can totally do it virtually too. Virtual anything is going up right now. So the beauty entrepreneurs who will learn how to pivot their business and offerings to fit the times are going to thrive during this season. And that one mindset shift will create the haves and the have-nots. I would gladly personally pay $50 of my hard earned money for a beauty expert to please just teach me how to temporarily cover my roots. And I'm sure several others have this pain point as well. Where you guys at?
What about my estis? Where are my esti girls? We need you. We need you. Help us. Help us. We are looking drier and more raisiny as each day of quarantine passes. Tell us what to do, what to use. With that said, esti girls, why don't you market yourself as a virtual beauty consultant? So start with your existing clients and who knows how it can grow from there. Remember when I said that this could technically pay more than your regular job? Have you done the math? No product, no product, just consultations. $50 for half an hour on FaceTime plus product. So, that's basically $100 an hour if you have two back-to-back consultations plus product. And you did it in your pajamas and you didn't spend money on gas and expensive Starbucks, et cetera, et cetera.
Okay. This one, online courses. This is probably my favorite one of all, because it's something I'm super passionate about teaching people and I've been doing it for two years. I've been in the industry for 10 years, but I've been doing online courses for two years. The truth is e-learning is the future. E-learning is actually so yesterday, like where are you at? You are late to the party if you don't have an online course yet. Totally. No, I'm just kidding. You're not too late. Actually, now is the best time to start an online business and get into e-learning. Why? Number one, it has never been cheaper. Websites, logos, PR, anything that has to do with growing your online business is on sale right now.
And another reason is because it's hugely profitable. Yeah, right now, amidst a pandemic. I have friends who are having record sales, like multiple six figure sales. And it's so weird to say that it has a lot to do with the fact that people are stuck at home with nothing to do. So they want to utilize their time by bettering themselves on the internet. Cash in on that. E-learning is said to be a $4 billion industry by year 2026. You can look that up and I'll bet that number is going to be even higher due to COVID-19. I hate to say it, but this pandemic is just kind of speeding things up. It's speeding things up in the way we need it to go anyway. We need it to modernize. People are just realizing it sooner.
