DESIGN YOUR DREAM LIFE
STOP DREAMING, START LIVING.
Many people say that you have to be realistic as an adult. They say that dreams are for kids, that they're unrealistic, that they'll never happen.
But I don't think we should stop dreaming when we're adults. I believe that dreaming is actually most important as an adult.
That dream life that you have in your head? That ideal version of yourself, the dream job, dream house that you have? You can make that a reality!
If you want to:
- Become That Girl
- Build The Business Of Your Dreams
- Live Your Dream Life
- Start Your Dream Job
- Be Your Highest Self
- Live A Fulfilled Life
You can do that!
The KEY thing about dreams is that we can use them as a roadmap for our lives, but too often, we think they're unrealistic or not possible.
So today, I'm going to show you exactly how you can make your dreams a reality, become your best self, and live the life of your dreams with three simple steps.
Let's go!
1. MOODBOARD
The first step to making your dreams a reality is to be aware of them. Mood boarding can be a crucial step, especially if you're a visual person.
To make a mood board, you find images and words that represent your dream or goal. Then you put all of them together on a board and keep it in a location where you always see it. This keeps your goals at the forefront of your mind.
If your goals are always on your mind, then they'll be easier to reach.
You can make mood boards in a variety of ways.
You can use Canva, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop, or any photo-collage app to digitally put all of your pictures together. Then you can set it as your phone lock screen or desktop wallpaper so that you see it every time you use your device!
If you're a more hands-on kind of person, you can print out pictures or use magazines to find your images and then glue them on a board that you can find at any craft store. You can even use a cardboard box and just cover it up to make it look pretty!
Here's an example of a mood board I would make! Yours can look exactly like mine or nothing like mine! It's all up to you and your goals.
If pictures aren't really your thing, you can always write it out.
Take a piece of paper and write out your goals. You can include some words that resonate with you like POWERFUL, INDEPENDENT, CONFIDENT, etc. Keep this list in a place where you will always see it: on your mirror, your nightstand, by your desk, etc.
The point of the mood board is to keep your dreams alive and visible so that you're one step closer to making them a reality.
2. MEDITATE
The ultimate way to connect to your higher self is by meditating.
Meditation helps you connect with your deepest inner self and it blocks out everything around you, helping you clear your mind. Daily meditation helps me block out all negative thoughts and focus on what's important.
If you're someone who gets easily overwhelmed by your goals and has a hard time staying on track, meditation is a great practice.
Find a method of meditation that works for you. Some people can sit in total silence for an hour, while others prefer short guided meditations.
Try a couple of different methods to find what works for you.
Keep your goals in mind when meditating on your dream life.
What is the life you're trying to build?
Who is your ideal self?
What does she do?
How does she live?
Try visualizing the best version of yourself when you meditate to help you become more connected to that vision.
Try a short journaling session after a meditation. Write down any feelings, thoughts, or images that came up during the meditation.
What do they tell you about your current self?
What do they tell you about your future?
How can you use these thoughts to form the map to your dream future?
You're probably a lot closer to your goals than you realize!
3. MANIFEST
Make your dreams become a reality with manifestation!
Manifestation is literally about turning your dreams into real life. You take the things you dream about, the things you want in life, your goals, and aspirations, and you manifest them into your life.
Honestly, you're already covering some important bases if you're following steps 1 and 2.
Here are some additional steps to manifest your dream life:
- Become Aware Of Your Goals
- Make A Plan To Achieve Your Goals
- Practice Gratitude And Kindness
- Eliminate Limiting Beliefs
- Use Positive Affirmations
- Trust The Process
If you put all of these steps into action, find the methods that work best for you and your needs, and honestly believe in your ability to reach your goals, you're on the right path to living your dream life!
